Covid-19 Precautions

We take our safety and the safety of our clients and their families very seriously. We follow all CDC guidelines and require the same from our clients. We limit exposure to the community to only essential trips and no gatherings of any size. We practice frequent hand washing, mask wearing - inside and out, and socially distance when out of the home. We screen our own health daily - including reviewing the checklist of symptoms and taking temperature.

To keep everyone safe, we require the following in order to enter your home.

If you or a member of your household has any of the following symptoms, your appointment will be rescheduled:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

Please take your temperature one hour prior to your appointment. I will also take your temperature with a non-contact thermometer when I arrive. If you have a fever, your appointment will be rescheduled to a time when you are feeling better.

  • If you have a fever, please notify me as soon as possible - before I arrive.

  • A fever is considered 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

  • A forehead temperature is usually 0.5 -1.0 degree lower than an oral temperature.

  • Fever with an oral thermometer: 100.4 deg F or greater.

  • Fever with a forehead thermometer: 99.4 deg F or greater.

If you have been exposed to someone with Covid-19, please notify me as soon as possible. Your appointment will be rescheduled for 14 days after exposure.

If you have traveled out of the state or country we will wait to schedule you until 14 days after you have returned.

MASKS

It is expected that you will have a proper fitting, properly worn mask - covering mouth and nose. If not, you will be asked to change it.

It is requested that other family members be socially distanced and masked for the duration of the appointment.
